It is important that you do have nationality in these countries, as the visa laws are different in countries depending on the passport that you hold. This does not have to be the same as the country that you live in.

Select the languages that you can speak. Please only select a language if you can comunicate or hold a normal conversatation in that language. Families want to give their children access to other languages or want to you talk to their children in a different language.

It is very common for girls to be an au pair, but this is not to say that males cannot be au pairs, and it is becoming more and more common that boys are taking a year off to become au pairs.
Age *Age

18 is the average age of an Au Pair, but families will accept older, and some will not take an aupair that is younger than. If you are 18 or just turned 18 you may want to do a year of day care work or similar experience before becoming an au pair. Mature does help and as au pairing is a responsible undertaking maturity is favoured.

eAupair will not allow you to enter in an age younger than 18.

eAupair.com allows you to upload an image of yourself. To do this click on the Browse button, a dialog box will pop up and allow you to browse your machine, find the image on your system that you want to upload an double click on it in the dialog box, the path and file name will be automatically inserted into this field.

If you are familiar with electronic images, we can only accept images in one formats : Jpeg. This is a very common format, and if you have an image in any other, there are many packages to convert them to JPG. If you cannot convert them, eAupair.com will convert them for you. Email the image to info@eaupair.com and we will convert and upload the image for you. 

If you are having a problem with uploading an image, leave the image off, and then email it to us, and we will upload the image for you. We have found that some Mac systems do not allow images to be uploaded to our system.

If you do not have an electronic image, eAupair.com will also scan an image for you. Please mail (snail mail) your photograph to the address under Contact Us with you login and we will scan and upload the image for you.

This is the month in which you can start your au pair work. Select from the possible dates available

The is the last date that you can start you au pair work. This selection works hand in hand with : Latest Date Available From and cannot be earlier that it. If you can only be available in a particular month, then select them both in the From and To.
Shortest Period of Stay *Shortest Period of Stay

This selection is how long you want to be an au pair for, you can also select a range, ie. if you are willing to be an au pair for 6 to 12 months, select 6 Months as the shortest and 12 as the longest (see Longest Period of Stay)
Longest Period of Stay *Longest Period of Stay

This selection is how long you want to be an au pair for, you can also select a range, ie. if you are willing to be an au pair for 6 to 12 months, select 6 Months as the shortest and 12 as the longest (see Shortest Period of Stay) If you only want to be an au pair for a year then select 12 months for both Shortest and Longest
Work with children under 2 *Work with children under 2

This is a choice if you are willing and capable of working with children under the age of 2, it is a bigger responisbilty to care for children under the age of 2.

This is the countries that you would like to work in. You can choose as many as you want.

This is the nationalities of the families that you are willing to work with. It is suggested that if you select the country that you are willing to work in, you should also select the nationality ie. Seeking Employment In countries selected should at least be the same as Seeking Family With Nationality countries. It is better to have more family nationalities, than countries that you are seeking employment in. You can choose as many as you want.

A good au pair is expected to do light housework, but there may be a reason why you may not wish to perform light housework, which you can explain in the Dear Family option.

Indicate if you can swim, you must be able to swin un-aided with confidence. Families may want you to watch children around water and you must be comfortable with this.
